Paige's Fairy Garden, Year One

Paige is my nine year old daughter.  Last year for her birthday I surprised her by making a fairy garden in our back yard.

 

It looked good but, unfortunately, the garden is on a slope and the soil was very bad in that spot. After the first big storm of the summer, much of the dirt had washed away taking both fairies and accessories with it.  Also most of the plants died by the end of the season.
